ROBERTA "BOBBIE" LENZIE

It was always our belief that Bobbie would outlive us all with her commitment to healthy habits, and twice-weekly sessions with her personal trainer. But that was not to be. Bobbie passed away peacefully after a brief illness on March 29, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Born and raised in Canton, OH, Bobbie took great pride in making sure she and her loving sisters Rose (Dave) and Becky (Patrick) always looked neat and pressed in their school uniforms. That sense of care and attention to detail continued throughout her life—she did laundry and ironing for her family up to the end. One of her favorite tasks was pressing graduation gowns for her grandchildren. As a young adult, Bobbie moved to Chicago, where she met and married Chuck. Together they welcomed three children, Ann (Mike), Mike (Carol), and Jody (Chris). The family relocated to California, and then to Las Vegas, Bobbie's home for the past 50 years. She enjoyed a successful 30-year career as a realtor, where she made close friendships, inherited "daughter" Leslie, and proudly donned her gold Century 21 blazer. After retiring from real estate, Bobbie fulfilled a lifelong dream and became a flight attendant at age 59, taking to the skies with American Airlines. She always did love a uniform. In 2002, Bobbie met Bob and gained two step-sons, Todd (Kelly) and Kent, expanding her beautiful family. Bobbie and Bob were the perfect match—traveling together, doting on their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sharing laughter every single day. Bobbie spent her life doing for others. In retirement, she volunteered with a local hospice and devoted time to Swedish embroidery. She created handmade blankets and placemats, always eager to gift them to people she loved. Her warmth, generosity, and zest for life, will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, at 11 am, at St. Joseph Husband of Mary Catholic Church, 7260 W Sahara. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to nonprofit JAG Nevada, or a charity of your choice.
