Las Vegas, NV - Ronald J. Bunker was born in Tacoma Washington September 20 th 1938 to Harvey and Lena Esther Bunker. He passed away on May 28, 2025 at St. Rose Hospital in Henderson, Nevada, he was 86. As an infant his family moved to Southern California where he attended school and graduated from San Bernardino High School. After High
School he joined the Army. After the Army he joined his father in running Bunker Refrigeration, where they worked side by side for many happy years. He married Sonja Bunker, the love of his life in 1981. He loved her at first sight. He was kind, funny
(really funny) and never met a stranger. His love of family was larger than life. He always saw the good in everyone. In 1994 Ron and Sonja moved to Las Vegas where they continued their love story. He loved fishing, duck hunting and golf and could call a
football game from his recliner like no other. Ron leaves behind his beloved wife Sonja, Las Vegas, two daughters, Rhonda Bunker, North Carolina, Brenda Davis, Oregon, two grandchildren, Alex Foley, Texas and Britni Johnson, California, one great grandchild,
Theo Whitfield, Sisters JoAnn Dannenmiller, Florida and Jerry Loffler, California and his cousin Karen Beard, Utah. He will be remembered for being one of the best, a truly
special person who could light up a room and tell the best jokes you've ever heard. Per his request there will be no service, in lieu of flowers he requested donations be made
to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in his name.
