Ronald Richard Horvath (Ron)
January 27, 1943 - June 13, 2025
Ronald Horvath, 82, passed peacefully on 6/13/2025. He is pre-ceded in death by his mother and father, Mary and Felix Horvath as well as his brother Phillip. He is survived by his wife of 52 yers, Patricia, his three children, Richard, Michael and Theresa and eight grandchildren. Ron was born in Chicago and graduated from St. Louis School of Pharmacy in 1967. He served the communities of Chicago and Las Vegas for over 50 years. Ron will be remembered as "Ronnie", the man with a ready smile and funny stories from his past.His greatest achievement was the love of his family. He married a woman with 2 children whom he raised as his own over the years. He was a special man who exemplified the characteristics of honesty, integrity, loyalty, work ethic , compassion and love. We will forever miss our beloved "Ronster". Funeral Mass will be held at St. Viators chapel on August 9 at 10am. There will also be A Celebration of Life Memorial on 8/10 at Tuscany Grill at 4pm.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
