Mrs. Rose Marie Dean Obituary
Las Vegas, Nevada - Rose Marie Dean, lovingly known as Mom, Grandma, and Nana, entered into eternal rest on June 25, 2026, at the age of 87 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Rose was born on March 17, 1939, in Fayette, Pennsylvania. Throughout her life, she embodied remarkable strength, unwavering devotion to her family, and a steadfast Catholic faith. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother. While she was also a daughter, sister, and aunt, the roles she treasured most were those centered on her family.
She was the heart and foundation of our family. Rose loved fiercely and unconditionally, and nothing mattered more to her than the people she loved. She found her greatest joy in bringing her family together, preserving cherished traditions, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. She leaves behind generations of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whose lives were shaped by her strength, unwavering love, and example. A woman of remarkable strength, deep conviction, and timeless class, Rose believed family was life's greatest blessing. She instilled in all of us the importance of loyalty, resilience, honoring our traditions, and always putting family first.
Rose shared a beautiful love story with her beloved husband of many years, William Norris Dean. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and unwavering devotion to one another. Their marriage was a testament to commitment, partnership, and enduring love, creating a family that became her greatest pride and life's purpose.
Her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. Rose was a dedicated parishioner of St. Joseph Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church and Christ the King Catholic Church, where she faithfully served as a Eucharistic Minister. She found great comfort in her faith and lived each day with humility, compassion, and a servant's heart, touching countless lives through her acts of generosity and love.
Rose's greatest gift was making everyone feel at home. She had a way of bringing family together, creating traditions, and turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. Her warmth, generosity, and unconditional love made every person who walked through her door feel welcomed, and her family was always at the center of her heart.
Rose is survived by her beloved husband, William Norris Dean; her children, Terese Marie Elliott and Frank Howard Dean; her grandchildren, Chelsae Elliott, Taylor Vasquez, Devan Elliott, Averi Elliott, Ethan Elliott, Gavin Dean, Tyler Dean, and Hannah Dean; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Henry Vasquez, Nashely Vasquez, Camryn Foley, Greyson Foley, and Ashton Foley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Teresa Marie Lopick and Francis Lopick Sr.; her sister, Patricia Ann Sedlik; and her brother, Francis Lopick.
Although our hearts ache with her absence, we find peace knowing she is now in the loving presence of the Lord she served so faithfully throughout her life. Her legacy lives on through the family she cherished, the faith she lived, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
