Sandra Lee Crowder (Sandy) Obituary

Las Vegas, Nevada - Sandra Lee Crowder was born January 11, 1946 in Glendale, California and later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she spent the remainder of her life. She passed away just days after her 80th birthday on January 15, 2026. She was the oldest of 3 daughters born to Donald W. Carr and Edna Lucille Carr who both preceded her in death. From an early age she was a vibrant outgoing personality who started walking at 6 months old literally always up on her toes. She worked as a bartender for nearly 30 years, a career she truly enjoyed because it allowed her to connect with people and build lasting friendships she treasured throughout the years. Sandra had a lifelong passion for sports. She was a devoted fan of UNLV Rebel Basketball, NFL Football and later the Vegas Golden Knights. Watching games was one of her favorite pastimes, and she loved sharing that excitement with family and friends. She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Brad) Oaks, sons Dennis (Michele) Wilgar and Michael Wilgar; her sisters Cheryl (Dan) Demint and Dawn (Chris) Manzi; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Sandra was truly a force of nature-strong spirited, loving and full of life. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered forever.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in the near future, with details to be announced.
