Las Vegas, NV - In Loving Memory of Scott Jeffrey Stoner
Scott Jeffrey Stoner passed away peacefully the evening of Monday, June 2, 2025. He was 76 years old.
Born June 16, 1948 Scott was raised in the Southern California community of Brentwood. Here he made many lifelong friends and shined as an athlete excelling in both golf and baseball. Both would remain lifelong passions.
In 1970 Scott moved to Maui, where he resided in Lahaina town and worked at the Kaanapali Resort and later became a golf professional at the Kapalua Resort where he represented the Arnold Palmer group. He was a golf teacher that excelled at this career.
He later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked as an executive host at the Las Vegas Hilton. He would work there for 30 years entertaining stars, athletes, VIP's and dignitaries. He was admired professionally and greatly appreciated by those who worked with him.
Scott retired in 2014 and bought a house on the first fairway of Las Vegas Country Club where he continued to play almost daily and shared many friendships. He continued his passion for fishing with frequent trips to Alaska to fish for salmon.
Scott was a warm and compassionate person who had the ability to make everyone feel special. Those of us that had Scott in our life know how privileged we were. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his daughter Christina Nohea Stoner, his brother C. Earl Stoner, and his nephew Robert Stoner. He is predeceased by his father C. Earl Stoner, Sr. and his mother Dorothy Burks.
