Today, we honor our mom with love and gratitude as we remember the beautiful life she lived and the countless lives she touched. Suzie had a special gift for connecting with people, forming friendships wherever she went and leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She embraced every chapter of life with courage, strength, curiosity, and a deep love for her family and community.

Suzie peacefully passed away on October 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. A driven entrepreneur, she owned and operated two family businesses alongside her husband, Wayne Marquardt.

She later built a successful real estate career with her partner, Dave Fahrny, and together they helped families throughout the Las Vegas Valley find places to call home for more than 20 years, creating many lasting friendships along the way. They also adored their beloved four-legged Schnauzers, McGhee and Gabby.

Suzie found joy in life's simple and meaningful moments. She loved traveling, skiing, boating, and music, but nothing meant more to her than time spent with her daughters, Karen and Holly, and the many friends she cherished. She was also deeply involved in her community through volunteer work, service on her HOA board, and working at election polls.

Suzie will be remembered for her strength, wisdom, kindness, and unwavering belief that anything is possible.
