Las Vegas, Nevada - In Loving Memory of:
Susan Marie Swartz, aged 70, passed peacefully August 25, 2025, at Nathan Adelson Hospice after a brief battle with cancer.
Born December 28, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois, she moved to Las Vegas in 1975 and soon met her husband, Mark Swartz. They shared 47 years together, filled with love, laughter and life's simple joys.
Susan worked over 30 years with American Express, and then enjoyed retirement with Mark and Zoey, their beloved dog. They travelled widely—to Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the Galápagos, Hawaii, Tahiti, and beyond—cruising and exploring the world together.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and August Pavlik. She is survived by her husband Mark; sister-in-law Pat Pavlik; cousin Chris; and several nieces and nephews in the Chicago area.
Susan will be remembered for her warmth, kind spirit, and fearless love of adventure. In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned at this time.
