Henderson, NV - Terrence M. Jackson, 78, of Henderson, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 15, 1946, Terry Moved to Las Vegas at age 6 and called it home for over 70 years. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he leaves behind his beloved wife of 40 years, Beverly, daughter, Justine; son, Sean; grandchildren Oliver and Amber Riley; and sister Penelope Porter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Suzi and Buzz Jackson, and sisters Patricia and Kathleen. Terry graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1964 and earned a mathematics degree from Oregon State University. He later pursued law at Howard University, passing the Nevada State Bar in 1975. He dedicated 25 years to the Clark County Public Defender's Office before running a Private Law office. He worked in law 48 years. A man of intellect, integrity and humor, Terry was passionate about the law, lifelong learning, and above all, his family. He loved reading, games, solving Sunday's LA Times crosswords, and spending time with loved ones. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Community. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Community located 130 N. Pecos Rd., crosstreet Wigwam St. in Henderson.
