Las Vegas, Nevada - Thomas John Arthur Jones, 77, of Las Vegas, died on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Born in 1949 in Mitchell, South Dakota to Mary Llewellen (Kirkpatrick) Jones and Thomas Harold Jones, Tom was the former department chair and a professor for UNLV's William F. Harrah College of Hospitality for more than 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Terri Putterman Jones, and his two children, Thomas Morgan (Jumana Rushrush) and Mikayla Jones. A viewing and service will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, March 7 at Davis Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
