THOMAS ROBERT MORGAN

We are deeply saddened to share the loss of our dad and beloved husband, Thomas Robert Morgan. He passed away peacefully in Henderson, NV on April 18, 2026. He lived for 86 years and left behind beautiful memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. He was a devoted husband to Darla Morgan. They shared 17, wonderful years of marriage together. Tom was born in Warren, OH on September 24,1939. He was the first son born to Floyd and Winifred Morgan. He attended and graduated from Lordstown High School. His career was in the maintenance industry. He was employed at Rinker Materials as a Maintenance Supervisor until he retired in 2009. One of Tom's favorite pastimes was Drag races and NASCAR races. He also loved to play cards and keno. His poker face enabled him to win many card games. He also loved going out to eat and never passed up on an opportunity to go out for a cheeseburger. He spent many hours working and tinkering with his 1949 Ford F1 truck. He drove his truck for over fifty years. Trust me, that truck was near and dear to him. He was a man of few words, but once you were able to press through the silence, the conversation was always insightful and uplifting. He is survived by Darla Morgan, his brother Larry Morgan, his children; Tracie and Jerome Gilliam, Todd and Suzette Morgan, Troy and Theresa Morgan and Trevor and Kristy Morgan, his grandchildren Monica, Sarah, Rebekah, Annie, Jack, Dylan and Emma. He also leaves behind three great-grandchildren; Jacob, Olivia and Ryleigh. He was proceeded in death by his parents; Floyd and Winifred Morgan, his brothers; Richard, Terry , and his son Timothy and his daughter Terrie. A celebration of life will be held on June 27th at 11:00 am at Faith Christian Church. Thomas was laid to rest at Palm Mortuary. He will always be remembered as a gentle and quiet soul. He always had a way of communicating love, acceptance and kindness. Tom may no longer be with us, but the sweet memories are forever etched in our hearts.
